Take It!

Take it. Have you ever thought about the fact that you must be willing to take your position in the kingdom of God. Probably not. Most people are used to things being given to them. So, when you begin to follow God and walk out your purpose you must learn how to take your position and what God has for you.

There is scripture that reads, “the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force.” The key words for us to focus on is “take it.”

Most of us get so tired of fighting that we just give up rather than press into God. We choose to sit back and “wait on” God. You must be willing to wait on God for the things that He has for you. However, don’t spend your life singing the song “I don’t mind waiting” when in all actuality God is waiting on you. You have to be willing to walk with a level of boldness to take your position in the kingdom of God, to take your purpose from those that are trying to shut you down, to take your life back from those who are trying to define you, and to take your seat in the presence of your enemy.

You don’t have to cut anyone’s head off, kill anyone, destroy anyone, or assasinate anyone’s character to take your position…at least I hope not. I would hate for you to take your position in jail. However, you must take your position in God and walk out your purpose. Though it will be a struggle at times, it is better to take your position in life rather than be taken by the circumstances of life.

Wow, that was a word! I just got the revelation that I have been taken by the circumstances of life when I actually thought that I was fighting to take my position in life.
